Holiday Cleaning

You will undoubtedly have a lot of company over for the holiday season. As such, you want your bathroom to look pristine.

How to Make Your Bathroom Look Pristine

Step 1: Organization
The first step is to ensure that your bathroom is organized. A lot of products, whether on your countertop or in your shower, can make your bathroom look cluttered.

Bathroom organizers are great for keeping products together in one place while also providing a more organized look to your bathroom.

Shower dispensers can remove unsightly bottles from around your bathtub or shower. Our CLEVER Shower Dispensers are a great option for decreasing bottle clutter and keeping your family organized!

The first phase of making your bathroom look pristine is removing used or old bathroom products and ensuring that the remaining ones are organized.

Step 2: Deep Clean
Once your bathroom is organized, the next stage is to actually deep clean your bathroom. To clean your bathroom like a professional, here are some tips:

  • Dust and Vacuum
The first step is to always dust from top to bottom with a microfibre cloth. Next, vacuum the floor.
  • Steam Clean
Begin by spraying tiles, walls, and so on with a solution of one part white vinegar and one part water. Next, turn on the hot water and shut the doors. Allow your bathroom to get steamy and then wipe down all surfaces with a lint-free cloth.
  • Cleaning Your Shower
You might have a buildup of water marks on your shower head. One hack to address this is filling a plastic bag with vinegar and then submerging your shower head in it, securing the bag with a few elastics. Allow it to sit overnight.

Next, throw your shower curtains into the washing machine with a couple of old towels, which will act as scrubbers.

To make your shower doors extra shiny, make a paste of baking soda and a few drops of water (ensure that it’s thick enough so that it sticks to the door). Allow the mixture to sit for an hour on the doors and then rub with a microfiber cloth.

Lastly, rinse and buff with a fresh microfibre cloth. Don’t forget that incorporating a shower Squeegee into your daily shower routine will help reduce the buildup of mildew and water spots.

  • Cleaning The Toilet
To clean the toilet, pour a cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl. Next, swipe your toilet clean with LOOEEGEE and clean the rest of the toilet as you normally would.
  • Address Grout
If you have tiles in your bathroom, you may find that there is a buildup of grout in the tiles. This is not only unsightly; it can also cause bacteria to grow.

To address problematic grout, use an old toothbrush and a homemade paste of baking soda and water (you can also use bleach, but this is less healthy). Next, spritz with the aforementioned vinegar solution and work away until any dirt is removed from the cracks.

Finish by steam cleaning your floors.
