Every year, Pantone releases its predictions for the top colors of the year, and the 2017 list is out. Historically, the Pantone color choices have been fairly accurate in determining which colors will be popular throughout the year. In fact, these colors can be seen in the styles and designs across industries, including fashion, furniture, architecture and home decor.
With this in mind, if you’re thinking about updating your bathroom fixtures or walls in line with this year’s trends, you may want to choose a shade on the list. Unlike previous years, 2017’s selection of hues strays toward muted, earthy tones. Even so, there are a few bright additions that could make great accent colors in your bathroom.
Without further ado, here are the 10 colors on the list:
- Pink yarrow
- Pale dogwood
- Island paradise
- Lapis blue
- Primrose yellow
Kale, hazelnut, greenery, pale dogwood, island paradise and niagara are all great options if you are looking for a softer, more subdued style. On the other hand, a bright pop of pink yarrow, flame, lapis blue or primrose yellow in your bathroom fixtures could become the room’s focal point.
Whether you’re planning on doing a complete overhaul of your bathroom’s decor or you’re just looking to finish an update, incorporating one or two of the Pantone colors of the year is the way to go.
